From politicians to businessmen, professionals and public servants, merchants and intellectuals, they all worry about the image. Concerns all improve that show themselves to others with whom they share tasks. They are training for the improvement of the image with specialists – must recognize that not always obtain good results – but the truth is that concern about the image in all or almost all. By attentive listening to the voices of teachers ever I heard them worrying about the image. Yes you hear the owners of private schools talk about the image of the school, is spoken and is marketing to grow the trust of parents at that school which directs and want to be seen as a company (like most this word that the word school). They achieve with much effort that the school has some supposedly business images. Certain presentation in the entrance hall, the front of the building, maybe the kids uniforms, brochures for promotion of the institution is usually business-style designs and commonly used formats. What happens in s schools they attend the poor children of the system? Here teachers do not speak of the image.
Do not hear them is saying nothing about the image of the school or the image itself. Why? The teachers of poor children do not talk about the image because they build image all the time. They are the picture and know it. There will be exceptions, surely. Generally, that teacher with appearance of tiredness, without having gone through the hairdresser, with a somewhat worn overall, many books in his backpack, a hurry to do and build, always a free hand to caress any dishevelled head, always a smile to lift the mood, with shrewd gaze to give confidence, firmly to put limits, with pleasant for comfort voicewith memory to recall qualities and highlight them, with words of encouragement and cheer, it is the daily image of the poorest schools in Argentina. No brochures, no decoration business without thinking too much, because there’s no time, only with the passion of every day put at the service of education to build, modify and deconstruct what moves us as a society: knowledge.
The knowledge are that define the image of Argentine teachers. Operate daily, even in the most adverse conditions, and promoted knowledge built the image of Argentine teachers, there where poverty abounds and children demand attention.
